The story behind Viamour
Hi, I'm Jade Williams.
Founder of Viamour
Viamour started with a move. In 2019, I relocated 1,642 miles across the country to make Phoenix, Arizona, my home. I arrived without knowing a single person and had to learn how to build a life, a routine, and a sense of belonging somewhere completely new.
Later, when I began traveling internationally, I kept encountering that same feeling. I could be surrounded by beautiful places and interesting people and still have no one to share the experience with. I didn't want to simply pass through new places. I wanted to feel connected to them.
The apps I tried never quite solved that problem. Dating apps brought romantic expectations into spaces where I was only looking for friendship. Traditional event platforms could tell me where people were gathering, but not necessarily help me form a meaningful connection once I arrived.
I wanted something different: a way to meet people who were genuinely open to friendship, make real plans together, and feel more at home wherever life happened to take us. So I built Viamour.
Why Viamour exists
More than somewhere to go.
Viamour is designed to help people move from discovering one another to actually spending time together.
You can connect one-on-one with someone who shares your interests, join a Community Meetup, or discover a Curated Experience created by someone who knows the city. Each path is built around the same goal: making it easier to find real people and make real plans.

Viamour is an independent, founder-led company. I remain closely involved in the product, the community, and the decisions that shape what Viamour becomes.
That means feedback does not disappear into a distant support queue. The experiences people have using Viamour directly influence what gets improved, protected, and built next.
My goal is not to create another social platform that keeps people staring at their phones. It is to build something that helps people put their phones down and experience a place together.
Where we begin
Starting where my story began.
Viamour launched first in Phoenix, the city where I learned what it meant to start over somewhere new.
From there, the vision is to grow thoughtfully, city by city, helping more people find friendship, community, and a genuine sense of belonging wherever they land.
Because you can arrive somewhere alone without having to stay that way.
