Managing your Viamour account and data
You can delete your Viamour account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how, what happens to your data, and how to request deletion if you can no longer access the app.
Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is in the app: 1. Open Viamour and go to Profile → Settings 2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account" 3. Confirm when prompted This permanently deletes your account. Once confirmed, the action cannot be undone.
Request deletion if you can't access the app
If you can no longer sign in or have removed the app, email us at support@viamour.app from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted: • Your profile is immediately removed from view and no longer visible to other users • Your profile information, photos, and optional profile details are deleted or anonymized • Any identity verification photographs still on file are deleted • Associated personal data is deleted or anonymized, subject to the exceptions below We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of your request.
What may be retained
We may retain limited information after deletion where necessary to: • Comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations (for example, records of transactions) • Prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms • Support the safety of the community, including records related to reports, moderation, or enforcement • Resolve disputes Retained information is kept only as long as necessary for these purposes and is then deleted or anonymized. Content you shared with other users (such as messages they received) may remain visible to them.
