Copyright Policy

Notices, counter-notices, and repeat infringement

Viamour respects intellectual-property rights and responds to sufficiently complete copyright reports. This process is for copyright issues; use our other reporting channels for safety, privacy, trademark, or intimate-image concerns.

1

Copyright notice

Send support@viamour.app a written notice containing: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works; (c) identification and location of the material you want removed, with enough detail for us to find it; (d) your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. Use the subject “Copyright Notice.”

2

Our response

We may ask for missing information, remove or disable access to material, notify the member who submitted it, preserve relevant records, and take other action permitted by our Terms and law. A report does not guarantee removal. We may reject reports that are incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or concern a use that appears authorized or legally protected.

3

Counter-notice

If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened through mistake or misidentification, email a written counter-notice containing: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the removed material and where it appeared; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; and (d) your name, mailing address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal district court and to accept service of process from the original claimant or its agent. Use the subject “Copyright Counter-Notice.” We may forward the counter-notice to the claimant.

4

Possible restoration

After a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original claimant tells us it filed a court action seeking to restrain the challenged activity, or unless another policy, safety concern, contractual right, or legal obligation independently supports removal.

5

Repeat infringement

In appropriate circumstances, Viamour may restrict or terminate accounts of repeat infringers. We consider the number, recency, reliability, and outcome of notices and counter-notices; apparent authorization or fair use; attempts to evade enforcement; and other relevant context. We may also act after a single serious or knowing infringement. We do not apply a mechanical strike count when the evidence shows a notice was invalid or the use was authorized.

6

Misrepresentations and other rights

A person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content infringes, or that removal resulted from mistake, may be liable for resulting damages and costs. Consider fair use, licenses, and other legal defenses before reporting. Viamour cannot give legal advice or resolve ownership disputes. Trademark, privacy, publicity, impersonation, and other complaints may be sent to support@viamour.app with enough information to understand and locate the issue.
