Community Guidelines

Viamour exists to help travelers, digital nomads, and locals form genuine friendships and community. These Guidelines apply to profiles, messages, groups, meetups, Experiences, events, reviews, reports, and relevant off-platform conduct. They are incorporated into our Terms of Service. Safety is shared work: follow these standards, use good judgment, and report concerns.

Use your real identity, accurate age and intentions, and recent photos that genuinely depict you. Maintain only one personal account unless Viamour approves otherwise. Do not impersonate another person or organization; use stolen, deceptive, or undisclosed AI-generated identity photos; create an account for someone without permission; falsify verification or qualifications; or evade an enforcement action.

Do not harass, bully, humiliate, threaten, degrade, or direct abusive language at another person. Hate speech, hateful symbols, dehumanization, and discrimination based on race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, pregnancy, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or another legally protected characteristic are prohibited. Context matters, but claimed humor does not excuse targeted abuse.

Consent must be voluntary, informed, specific, and ongoing. Respect "no," a block, silence after a clear stop request, and changed boundaries. Do not pressure, coerce, manipulate, blackmail, stalk, repeatedly contact, or retaliate against anyone. Do not expose private information, record a person where prohibited, or share private conversations, images, voice notes, location, or contact details without permission. Consent to receive material is not consent to redistribute it.

Pornography, sexual solicitation, prostitution, trafficking, sexual coercion, and content that sexually exploits or endangers anyone are prohibited. Never create, threaten to create, request, possess, or share an intimate image of a person without their consent, including an AI-generated or altered image. Any sexual content involving a minor or person presented as a minor is prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities. A person depicted in a nonconsensual intimate image—or an authorized representative—can request removal at viamour.app/intimate-image-removal, even without a Viamour account. Valid requests are handled under our published 48-hour process. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Do not threaten or glorify violence; encourage self-harm; exploit a vulnerable person; facilitate trafficking; promote terrorism or violent extremism; coordinate unlawful weapons, drugs, or dangerous acts; or use Viamour to commit or organize crime. Credible threats and apparent exploitation may be escalated to emergency services, law enforcement, or specialized organizations where appropriate and lawful.

Do not request money, loans, gifts, investments, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial credentials from members; run romance, travel, employment, immigration, or investment scams; send phishing links; impersonate support; manipulate reviews, referrals, attendance, or payments; use deceptive pricing; or move transactions off-platform to evade safeguards or fees. Legitimate Curator sales must use approved Viamour payment flows.

Do not mass message, scrape member information, recruit for unrelated businesses, promote multi-level marketing, sell access to accounts, or advertise products or services outside approved features. Curators and partners may promote approved Experiences or events only as permitted by their specialized terms. Invitations must be honest and must not misrepresent incentives or affiliation.

Hosts and Curators must accurately describe the provider, activity, price, time, location, accessibility, risks, qualifications, and material restrictions; comply with law; obtain required permits, insurance, and permissions; use appropriate venues, equipment, food, alcohol, transportation, and staff; honor confirmed bookings; and respond promptly to safety or cancellation issues. Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions, respect venues and other attendees, and not attend while presenting a known unreasonable danger to others.

Do not post illegal content, graphic gore, hateful or extremist propaganda, nudity or sexually explicit material, exploitative content, instructions for serious wrongdoing, malware, deceptive links, or content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Use only photos, music, logos, text, and other material you own or are authorized to use. Repeat infringement may result in termination.

Use in-app reporting and blocking tools or contact support@viamour.app. Preserve relevant messages, transaction details, and other evidence when safe to do so. Reports must be honest; knowingly false, retaliatory, or abusive reports are violations. Cooperate truthfully with reasonable safety, fraud, payment, or legal investigations. Reporting to Viamour does not replace contacting emergency services or law enforcement when appropriate.

Depending on context, severity, risk, evidence, history, and law, Viamour may remove content; reduce visibility; warn or educate; restrict messaging, groups, payments, or marketplace access; remove verification, Curator, or partner status; suspend or terminate accounts; preserve evidence; issue or facilitate refunds; or refer a matter to appropriate authorities. We may act immediately in high-risk situations. We do not guarantee a particular outcome or disclose confidential details about another person. If an appeal is offered, submit it by the stated deadline with complete and truthful information.

Verification, moderation, trusted contacts, check-ins, alerts, and reports reduce some risks but cannot eliminate them. They are not background checks, live monitoring, emergency dispatch, or guarantees. Make independent decisions, use public meeting places when appropriate, tell a trusted person your plans, control what you share, and contact local emergency services in an emergency.
